I am a Reader in the Electronic and Electrical Engineering department and group leader at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK.

My academic research interests are focussed on the development of microsystems and microfluidic technologies for healthcare applications, including fundamental biological research, drug screening, personalized medicine therapy, organ-on-a-chip and synthetic biology.

We also work with commercial partners to develop customised, miniaturised assays for biological and medical screening applications, as well as interfacing microfluidics to existing industrial instrumentation.
